Taming, Best way?

It's been about 8 hours now...anyone know when then shard will be back up?

Whats best way to level taming atm?, since there no brushes or dyes.

If you are starting out with 50 taming, this list is what you should go with.
You can also start on Ice Island when taming is at 35.1

50 - 71.1 (Dagger Island aka Ice isle) Walrus, Snow Leopard, Polar Bear and White Wolf. (Great Harts and Grizzlies on main land at 59.1)

71.1 - 77.1 Bulls, Great Harts, Grizzlies and White Wolves

77.1 - 93.8 Bulls and Giant Toads (add RIdgebacks and Savage Ridgebacks at 83.1)

93.1 - GM Bulls, Giant Toads, Ridgebacks, Savage Ridgebacks, Swamp Dragons*

* Have to agro the Swamp Dragons first then tame. Otherwise they will get guard whacked in Papau.
