Since you are doing all this awesome custom coding on the site, I was wondering if you ever thought about making ores, woods and leathers that were rare, but, weren't better than the previos level across the board, but, were better in certain areas? For example, how about a leather called something like 'Inferno' that might have a +5 Physical, +7 Fire, -1 Cold, -1 Poison and +1 Energy? That would allow crafters to make armor that is specific to a type of damage and could allow adventuruers to switch suits depending on where they were going. Perhaps for a starting point, take a raw number of points (like barbed has 12 resist points - 2+1+2+3+4) and redistribute as above. Overall, Inferno isn't any better than barbed, it is just that the numbers are in different places.
